The views from the apartment were breathtaking, overlooking the charming courtyard and beautiful countryside. It made me feel like I was in a fairytale. As a nature lover, I couldn't ask for more.
Personally, I found the terracotta tiles in the rooms to be a bit cold underfoot. However, I understand that this is a matter of personal preference and some people might enjoy the traditional charm it brings.

We stayed at this farm stay near Monteriggioni and it was epic. The best part was how close it was to San Gimignano and Monteriggioni - we got to explore both places and it was totally worth it. And guess what? They had free Wi-Fi, so we could Snapchat and Instagram our adventures!
The only thing that could have made it better is if they had a party area or organized some fun events just for us young people. It would have been rad to have some cool parties and meet other young travelers.

Nothing that I didn't like.

The rooms were clean and comfy, and the WiFi was on fleek. We chilled by the pool and partied it up in the castle courtyard. Best of all, it was a short walk to Monteriggioni where we hit the hottest bars and clubs. #vacaygoals
The only thing we wished for was a cooler hangout spot at the hotel for us young peeps. Like a rooftop bar or a DJ at the pool.

The location of the hotel was great for exploring the beautiful surrounding towns. It was just a short drive away from Siena, which made it convenient for day trips. the staff at the hotel were amazing and provided excellent service. They were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast spread in the morning was also wonderful, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. the atmosphere of the hotel was great and we loved the historic vibe it had.
The lack of proper air conditioning in the rooms. It was quite hot during our stay and the fans provided were not enough to cool the room down.

The manager at Castel Pietraio was incredibly responsive when we had an air conditioning issue. He arrived within minutes to fix it, which was impressive! The castle itself is beautifully restored and the service and facilities are top-notch. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable. The surrounding countryside is picturesque and the old world charm of the castle added to the overall experience. I had a great time at Castel Pietraio and would definitely recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, including the garden, pool, and winery. the village of Strove was a pleasant walk away, and we also had a great time exploring the nearby trails in Montagnola. Gabriella provided excellent advice for our visits to Siena, San Gimignano, and Castelina in Chianti. We also received good recommendations on local dining options.
We felt most welcome during our stay and had no complaints.

We couldn't have asked for better value for our money at Castel Pietraio. The room was comfortable and modern, and the location was absolutely perfect for exploring Tuscany. The staff, especially Gabriella, were incredibly helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable.
More breakfast choices would have been great, to cater to different preferences and dietary needs.
